1 nite stand

My new toy!!!

From Tris so I have something to feed and look after while he is away. But he is quite worried the replacement may be permanent. (I assure you it will not be!) It's so cute! Has little pink hearts all around. Toys R Us is having a Tamagotchi fair at the Suntec Atrium. The salespeople were highly amused by me. The new Tamagotchis are really cool. They have infra red so you can play games with (and even marry) other Tamagotchis. They can go to school and work. Japanese are really a crazy bunch. I wonder if the craze will hit Singapore again. Haven't thought of a name for it though. Suggestions?

Went to 1 Nite Stand Comedy Club at Clarke Quay for a night of fun and laughter. The night didn't start off too well. The Aussie host was not very entertaining at first. At least not until the second half after he downed at least 2 pints of san miguel. The Italian comedian was not that good as he mumbled quite a bit. But the Scottish guy was amazing. He is 57 years old and was wearing a tshirt which said, "Cool F**ker" in the Coca-Cola font. Damn cool. And his jokes, albeit perverse, were so bloody funny. But definitely not worth $40/person. Didn't even get a proper seat. :( Tried a new martini though, much better than a Cosmopolitan in fact! It's called a Flirtini. Those of you who like Cosmo (Shu Qiu!), try a Flirtini!

With the mad weather, (blazing sun in the morning and then a shower of rain in the late afternoon), my oily/combination skin is getting dry, and more oil is produced to compensate. My face is effectively a frying pan. I was looking for cheap hydration masks which are not made in a certain Asian country for fear of undesired ingredients in the mask, and I found a decent one in The Face Shop. The Face Shop, a Korean brand, sells masks by sheets ($3.50 per sheet/$10 for 3 sheets) and their Hyaluronic Mask gives ultimate skin hydration. For the price, it's really quite good. :)
