Finally! So sorry for not blogging for so long. Went to the US and came back with a flu. Went to Tan Tock Seng on Monday to check. They isolated me in a nice single ward and brought meals to me the whole day! Thank God I didn't get H1N1. For those who just got back from US or any affected areas and are not feeling well, please do be socially responsible and go down to TTSH for a check up. It's free! Do your bit to not spread the flu to your loved ones.

I love Holy Week. Re-enacting the Stations of the Cross reminds us of His journey to the Cross and how He, an innocent man, died for all of us.

The boyfriend went for Stations and Veneration with me on Good Friday, and it must have been an interesting experience for him. He probably never knelt that much in his life. Usually by the 10th station, my knees will be aching, but I will always bear in mind how much more He suffered for us.

I mean, kneeling versus nailing? Jesus certainly beats me hands down.

This year, the Holy Week is extremely special to me. My darling Doreen got baptised! I am really really glad for her to have God in her life now. Praise the Lord for her salvation!

A particular verse called out to me today.

Come, all you who are thirsty,
here is water!
Come, you that have no money -
buy grain and eat!
Come! Buy wine and milk -
it will cost you nothing!

Why spend money on what does not satisfy?
Why spend your wages and still be hungry?
Listen to me and do what I say,
and you will enjoy the best food of all.

(Isaiah 55:1-2)

One wonders why. I just love the way God speaks out to me. :)
